  License Expiration/Renewal
Louisiana LPN licenses expire on January 31st and must be renewed annually on or before that date.
LPNs should renew early to avoid problems and fines.  License renewal applications are mailed out in October of each year to the current address on file.  If you have had a change of address, see Address Change.  Applications are only mailed to those who have a current, active license.

CAUTION:

WORKING ON AN EXPIRED LICENSE CAN RESULT IN HEAVY FINES AND/OR DISCIPLINARY ACTION.

NOTE:  Online license renewal is not yet available.
